Kay de Wolf burst into the MX2 class during the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship and experienced some immediate success; he had three podium finishes and even won a moto at the Grand Prix of Flanders-Belgium. It was an impressive start to his career and confirmed that Husqvarna Motorcycles made the right choice by investing in him from a young age.
De Wolf has been with Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing MX2 since he moved onto the bigger bikes – he raced a TC 125 for the first time in 2019. Now, heading into his sophomore term on the FC 250, de Wolf is striving for regular podium finishes and a top-five ranking in the final championship standings. De Wolf was seventh in the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship.
